How long have you been on this weight loss journey? I have been working out at LiveFIT since 2014 but didn’t really get involved and serious until March 2015 Biggest Loser Challenge.
Weight Loss/Inches: Since March of 2015 I have lost a total of 46lbs, and I am not sure how many inches!
What was your “low point”? My lowest point was when My size 16 pants and XL shirts were no longer fitting me. I remember the day well. I was trying to find a cute outfit that wasn’t solid black and I took a selfie in the dressing room with this new outfit on and I couldn’t even believe my eyes! It was at that point I knew I needed to make a change! I had been working out 4-5 times a week but had never adjusted my eating. My justification was I work out so I can have whatever it is my craving was that day.
How did you get started? What I would consider my starting point was Biggest Loser Challenge of 2015. I joined Wendy’s pink team!!! I cannot thank her enough for being so kind and leading me in the right direction! She really motivated me to push on even on my sucky days!
What is your workout routine and eating plan? I currently do 4-5 classes a week and am training for my first full marathon! Which includes 4 runs a week! I eat clean 80-90% of the time. I have a lot of staples, snacks and meals I eat weekly that I got through several challenge recipes.
What are your top 3 favorite resources that helped you along the way?
1.) Having a community like LiveFIT makes this journey so much better. There is always someone you can reach out to if you are struggling or need any advice.
2.) Food journaling is also a huge help. Seeing it on paper really helps knowing how much you’re actually eating.
3.) Routine is also huge! Staying in routine is what gets me through each week!!!
What one piece of advice would you give to someone who is sitting on the sidelines and waiting? Don’t wait another day! It is amazing what a healthier lifestyle can do for you! No one is perfect and everyone’s journey is their own. Small changes lead to big results and big results lead to even bigger changes!
What one piece of advice would you give to someone who is in the process but is feeling discouraged? Don’t let a bad workout or a bad meal choice ruin your joy!!! Every day is a new day! One meal or even one cheat day will not ruin your progress!
Anything else you would like to share?
Create a routine and stick to it as closely as you can. We all have days when things come up and plans are altered but just remember tomorrow is a new day and you can get right back on track.

LiveFIT has become part of my family I have found so many wonderful friends through this community and gained a confidence in myself I never knew existed!!
